ABOUT

Digital product passports
for textile businesses.

Item Twin is a digital product passport platform for textile brands, manufacturers and exporters. It helps teams organise product data, create QR labels and share product information with customers.

WHAT ITEM TWIN DOES

From product records to a scannable label.

Item Twin brings fibre composition, production stages, supplier details, care instructions and certificate references together in one product record. Teams can add products directly or import them from Excel, then check for missing or inconsistent information.

The platform creates QR codes that link garments to digital product passports. You can download PDF label sheets or individual QR images for your own label designs. Customers scan the code to view product details in their browser, without an account or an app.

For textile DPP preparation, Item Twin helps you organise the data and test the process with your own products. You can update published information and export your records as your collection grows.

OUR APPROACH

Designed for everyday textile work.

01

Textile-specific from the start

Product records include fibre composition, production stages, facilities, suppliers and care instructions.

02

Honest about readiness

Readiness checks flag missing information. They do not verify every claim, certify a product or guarantee legal compliance.

03

Your product data stays portable

Your team can export its records as JSON. Customers can read the public passport in a browser, and software can access it as JSON or JSON-LD.

WHO IT IS FOR

Built around textile operations.

Brands

Bring product information together and give customers a consistent passport experience.

Manufacturers

Structure composition and production records that can be maintained across collections.

Exporters

Prepare product data for buyer conversations and the evolving textile DPP framework.

Whether you work with ready-to-wear, knitwear, denim, sportswear or home textiles, one representative product is a practical place to start. Regulatory coverage must be assessed for the specific product category.
